On March 23-25th we took a camping trip to Canyon of the Eagles on Lake Buchanan. We were joined by the Gaths – Mike, Lindsay, Finley and Bryson as well as Eric, Noelia and Preto.
We made smores, played cards, hiked the nature trails, attended a reptile show (the kids held snakes) and swam in the pool. The camping spots were great – very secluded and quiet. Definitely going to add this to our list of places to return to.

Finally getting around to posting some pictures from the holidays, 2012. For Christmas this year, Santa came and brought Eisley a new bike and a Leapfrog game. Everett got a basketball hoop and a Lego table.
We kept it pretty low-key for New Years. We took the kids down to Auditorium Shores and watched a few kid-friendly bands play, Joe McDermott and Big Don.
We carved a pumpkin a couple days before Halloween. Eisley picked out what she wanted to carve and she wanted a girl monster. That night we went trick-or-treating. Both kids were dressed up as super heroes – Super Sister and Super Brother to be exact.
