Sunday was a monumental day for Eisley because she had her first bath. We have been waiting for her belly button to fully heal before diving in to bath time, and felt pretty confident that it was okay at this point. After figuring out her little tub (thanks Angelica for giving it to us!) we got the girl prepped and were prepared for her to not enjoy what was about to take place.
Eisley actually did a great job and was completely relaxed. She was very patient with her rookie parents, and we even got a smile or two which made us so excited and happy. Of course we had to tape the event to preserve the occasion (one of those things that will probably make Eisley roll her eyes at later in life). Here is a little snippet for your viewing pleasure…
She’s growing up way too fast. First bath? Next week it’ll be her first bra. Eek. I want a bath hammock! I’m jealous.

i hope that the consensus is that it isn’t weird, although bill seemed really worried about me when i was crying and laughing at the same time so maybe it was a little dramatic.
i’m even more sorry that i missed your message about weds until it was too late, but maybe you aren’t because i probably would have cried the whole time.
