We have made it through two weeks now with this precious being, and while there is still a great deal of learning yet to do, we are slowly grasping our role as parents. So what if I have already called the nurse at the pediatrician’s office three times! My new mantra is that it is better to call than to guess (and therefore I will).

Eisley has made some great strides in her growth, and we couldn’t be happier about that fact. At her two week appointment on Wednesday, we discovered she now weighs 7 pounds 9 ounces and has grown an inch in length. Her head circumference is in the 10th percentile, but we are certain that her tiny noggin is just full of intelligent gray matter.

To mark Eisley’s second week there is a new picture, but there is also another video to view if you care to take the time. Nicholas has worked extremely hard on putting together a little visual map of our path to get to where we are today (and it makes me cry every time I watch it). Enjoy!

Thank you Nicholas for the video, I have anxiously been checking the blog site daily. Just can’t wait to meet my precious great grand-daughter. I know you are going to be wonderful parents to that little girl, you already are. It is a joy watching the babies grow, love you all bunches.

What a beautiful video! As I dry my tears, I can only feel how blessed we are to have Eisley in our lives. A baby truly is a miracle! I am so proud of both of you for enduring what you have gone through to have this precious baby. She is lucky to have you for her parents. I love you all.

Everyone waited so long for Miss Eisley to come along and the wait was well worth it. She’s even more amazing than I thought she could be. I justed wanted to say thank you very much for bringing her into my life because I can’t imagine how we survived so long without her.

We loved the video, Nick! She is just precious. When we traveled that long hard road as you both did, it made us realize that Miracles do happen. Seeing that video reaffirms it. Enjoy every moment!
