What?
Maybe someone can help me with this one. I saw this truck while driving home yesterday. Is this some sort of cliche, like “Make lemonade out of lemons” or does Sam really make silk purses out of sows ears?

Okay, mystery solved. Sam apparently doesn’t actually make silk purses. Turns out it is a phrase (apparently from a long time ago).

It is a phrase, but what is it doing on this car. What does sam really do? I know that it means to make the best out of a bad situation, so is that what sam can do for us?

It appears Sam is a handyman (I looked up his Web site), so I guess it sort of makes sense. I think it can be equated to “making the impossible, possible.”
