…you go to a restaurant near campus and they offer you a “Teacher’s Discount”. Without you even asking for it.

It happened to me today. I went with a coworker to Ming’s near campus. We had a Go Local card, which should grant us a 10% discount. However, when we tried to use it the cashier said “Oh, I already gave you the Teacher’s Discount”.

I guess we were too old to even look like grad students.

I used Wordle to create a word cloud displaying the words we use the most on this blog. We weren’t surprised that the most used words are “Mommy”,”Daddy” and “Eisley”.

A little office reorganization recently uncovered this IKEA ad that we have been saving. To see why it’s funny, you really have to take a close look. Keep scrolling for a hint. It’s not exactly G rated.
