<p>It happened to me today. I went with a coworker to <a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/mings-cafe-austin">Ming&#8217;s</a> near campus. We had a <a href="http://www.golocalaustin.com/rewards">Go Local card</a>, which should grant us a 10% discount. However, when we tried to use it the cashier said &#8220;Oh, I already gave you the Teacher&#8217;s Discount&#8221;.</p>
<p>I guess we were too old to even look like grad students.</p>
